If you’re looking to migrate to IP, you’ll want to start with an IP core deployment that consists of a spine and leaf-type architecture or a simple core switch for achieving signal distribution. To help you interface with surrounding source and destination media devices that are not yet IP native, Embrionix offers a selection of products for converting SDI-to-IP.
Our compact, lightweight and high-density SDI-to-IP emSFPs offer an interchangeable SFP form factor that can be installed inside an SFP cage hosted by other equipment manufacturers, inside COTS equipment or within our own 1RU emMODULAR aggregation frame. Different modules can be interchanged to provide your desired mix of input and output connectivity and processing. The modules can be inserted directly inside 10G SFP/SFP+ cages with a direct interface to a 1GE, 10GE, 25GE and 100GE network, drastically simplifying the gradual integration of IP and SDI equipment.
Embrionix SDI to IP gateways provide multiple practical interfaces to bridge SDI signals into IP. The modules are based on a small form factor (SFP+) that can either be installed inside a standard 10GE IP switch or inside third party equipment with SFP cages.
The software-defined emSFP can be configured to run encapsulation such as ST2110, ST2022-1/2 and ST2022-6. In the ordering process, you can choose the platform (emSFP hardware) and then pick different software options for this platform.

The emVIEW family of standalone de-encapsulators can be installed elegantly at the back of your monitor thanks to their miniature frame form factor. These devices can receive video IP flows and control packets from a single fiber optical link or dual optical links fiber in a redundant system. This solves long distance interconnection to the display using a minimum set of cables and equipment.
Our compact emVIEW hitless 4K/UHD IP ST2110 to HDMI 2.0 converter fits in the palm of your hand. Easy control is provided through Ember+, RESTful or NMOS protocols. This compact emVIEW IP-to-HDMI 2.0 gateway simplifies and empowers 4K/UHD IP broadcast production monitoring workflows with universal support for all 4K/UHD signal formats and resolutions up to 4K/UHD 60Hz/hitless redundancy. A 16K packet buffer is provided for support of any wide or narrow sender.
The emQUAD is a new quad split processor family capable of monitoring up to 4 IP signals on a single monitor and available in two flavors: the compact standalone emQUAD or emSFP-QUAD split processor.
In addition to the emQUAD and emSFP-QUAD, the company’s emVIEW-6 can be used to interconnect devices located at far distances over an IP link. The modular device is equipped with dual network connectivity, a control port for in-band control access and 3 x available I/O slots to accommodate HDMI or SDI input or output signals. The emFUSION-6 can enable 4 x quad views from a compact throwdown box and its modular design allows for configuration with SDI or HDMI inputs or outputs.
Each emVIEW, emQUAD, emFUSION and emEXTEND solution is based on the same frame form factor. The frame can be powered by redundant individual power supplies, or they can be installed in the emBOX-MBR-18, 2R rackmount bracket accommodating 18 frames and supplying redundant power.

The emFUSION product family of compact, modular, standalone SDI signal encapsulators and de-encapsulators can be neatly installed next to your equipment and are available with different input/output formats (COAX, HDMI, FIBER). The emFUSION platform is software updatable to run various encapsulation formats such as ST2110, ST2022-6 or ST2022-1/2.
The new emFUSION-6 is a compact standalone gateway that permits remote control of up to five camera feeds and signal return over a single fiber link. The device also allows for remote control of camera pan/zoom/tilt parameters and includes two aggregation ports that can be used for link redundancy.
Each emVIEW, emQUAD, emFUSION and emEXTEND solution is based on the same frame form factor. The frame can be powered with redundant individual power supplies, or they can be installed in a 2R rackmount bracket accommodating 18 frames and supplying redundant power.

The 1RU emMODULAR aggregation frame accommodates 48 software defined SFP IP processing modules ( ST2110, ST2022-1, ST2022-2, ST2022-6, ST2110 quad split) and efficiently and reliably aggregate IP flows to a redundant core IP network. The platform is configured for highly redundant IP Media routing preventing flows to be mixed between Primary and Secondary networks.
The high density 1RU emMODULAR-48-8 is built to move 4K UHD over a 25GE network and offers more than twice the density of other available solutions, supporting up to 80 x 4K UHD, or 96 x 3G miniaturized Embrionix gateways. The emMODULAR enables IP clean switching of any IP signal from one source to another.
The fiber transceivers devices can be installed into IP switches or into emMODULAR eggregators. The modules come in single mode or multi mode configuration.
