FPGA Designer

The FPGA Design Engineer is responsible for all aspects of FPGA code development within a video systems environment. The individual will perform activities including requirements definition, design implementation, simulation, testing and debug, document creation and at the most senior level, may provide architecture input, mentoring and team leadership.

Your Challenge:
  • Responsible for the design and development of new "System-on-FPGA" products as well as support of existing products
  • Concept development, writing product specifications, test plans and VHDL/Verilog coding
  • Responsible for FPGA functional allocation, design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route
  • Support the hardware team during environmental testing and entry into production

Quality and Certification
Manager

Role:

The quality and certification manager oversees the quality management system and product certifications. He must ensure the application and improvement of quality processes for new product introduction and production services. He also ensure that the new products are certified and the product certifications already on the market are updated when required.
The quality and certification manager must ensure, in conjunction with the NPI and R & D teams, that the products meet the quality standards required by the customers.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Document, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that standards are met internally and in industry
  • Take responsibility for product certifications
  • Manage the internal audit program through periodic audits, the creation / improvement of audit forms and the drafting of reports following audits
  • complete customer documents based on their requests for information and certifications
  • Drafting or overseeing the drafting of corrective action reports (SCARs) and internal corrective action requests (ACRs), received from customers or for our suppliers
  • Write or supervise the drafting of documents in agreement with the QMS and ensure that the internal documents respect the QMS in place
  • Inform and train employees at QMS by ensuring their understanding of quality documents
  • Be prepared to travel internationally for certain audits
  • Be available in the evening for weekly conference calls (1 time / week)

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 years or more in quality management (with QMS application)
  • 2 years experience in electronics manufacturing

Electronic Technician
R&D and production support

Role:

The technician will share his time between the product development team and the production team. He will have to work in the laboratory to carry out the tests and qualifications of the products under development as well as to find and fix the problems on the defective products, those that leave the production floor and those returned by the customers. He / she will also be involved in the writing of test procedures and test reports.
This position is part of the NPI team, support and QA. Therefore, the technician will work with and relate to this group but will also work closely with the R&D and production team.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Validate and qualify new products
  • Document the tests carried out
  • Validate and qualify engineering changes to existing products (ECO)
  • Draft work instructions for the application of ECOs
  • Execute tests on returned products
  • Debug products which failed production tests
