  • PTP: Transparent Versus Boundary Clock in a Broadcast Environment

Posted in Advanced emSFP on Dec 07, 2017

It is always a complicated task to write a useful white paper which will relate to a REAL challenge for our customers. We briefly explain the PTP in the paper, but there were some hidden roadblocks we had to overcome to have a solid ST2110 system with ST2059. Embrionix team worked hard to achieve it and we are excited to share our experience won by deploying a major project in ST2110 + ST2059. If you like to setup a meeting with us, simply contact us at: info@embrionix.com

The emFUSION are known to be the smallest SDI to IP and HDMI to IP converters. With this upgrade, the density is doubled without any size increase. Additionally, the utilization of the 10Gbps fiber or CAT6 is increased when the customer needs it. ‘The pluggable aspect of the emFUSION make it the best choice for any configuration a customer wants to support; quad SDI output, quad SDI input to IP, dual HDMI output or dual SDI input and single HDMI output, or dual SDI output combined with an HDMI output. All the configurations can be 2022-6...

  • Comparison non-MSA emSFP versus SFP-DD

    Posted on Aug 01, 2017

What is the new SFP-DD, and what is the difference with the emSFP non-MSA.

The SFP-DD is a new standard consisting of doubling the bandwith of an standard SFP28 and more. The SFP28 is capable of 28Gbps transport in both transmit and receive, the SFP-DD will be capable of 56Gbps and 112Gbps.

I remembered talking in a conference and I started that soon we will see Small form factor capable of transporting 56G and 112Gbps signals. In video transport we already doubling the bandwidth, we are doing 12G-SDI on 2 transmitter and 2 x 12G-SDI on dual receivers. The major difference between video trans...
